More stops than Google Maps takes?
Google Maps gives directions to up to 9 stops at a time. A longer list has to be split, or planned in a route planner that takes it whole.
Google's limit
“You can add up to 9 stops, which includes the final destination.”
More than one stop works for every way of travelling but public transit and flights, the same page says.
What to do with a longer list
Split it into routes of 9
Put in the first 9 stops and drive them, then start the next route where that one ended. You choose the order: drag a stop up or down the list to move it.
One driver, up to 25 stops
RouteMojo's free plan puts one route a day of up to 25 stops in its best order. No card, and no time limit.
Two or more drivers
Plan the whole day at once. RouteMojo shares the stops between your drivers, puts each route in its best order and gives each driver a link by text.
Your drivers can still drive with Google Maps
RouteMojo plans the order. Each driver's link shows the next stop, and Navigate opens it in Google Maps, Apple Maps or Waze, whichever the driver picks. There's no app to install.

Plan a day yourself
The home page has a planner to try: add stops to a made-up town, pick how many drivers, and watch the day share itself out.
