Fix addresses
An address is pinned by itself only when one place fits. The rest wait for you, one tap each.
Why an address waits
- Two places match. The same street is in more than one town.
- A poor match. Only the street or only the town was found, or the lookup isn't sure.
- No match. Nothing was found at that address.
They're left out when you plan, and the rest of the day plans as usual. Once one is fixed or placed on the map, it waits for a route like any other stop.
Fix them one by one
- When addresses need you, the panel says how many. Press Check.
- Press the right place among the suggestions. Each one shows its town.
- Or press Fix address, type it again and press Look up. In Ontario, real streets are suggested as you type.
- Or press It's in another town… and type the town.
- Or press Place on the map and tap where it is. It's remembered for that address.
- Or press Delete this stop.
When several addresses could be in the same town, one button pins them all there. Look them all up again tries every address again. Press Done when you're finished.
Addresses with no town
When many addresses have no town, the panel may ask where most of your stops are. Press a town, or type one and press Look up. To change it later, press Change.
Change one stop's address
- Click the stop on the map. Its card opens.
- Press Edit address. Change the street, the unit, the name, the notes or the customer's email.
- To move the pin as well, turn on Find this address on the map again.
- Press Save address. Undo puts it back as it was.
If the lookup didn't finish
If the address lookup stops part way, the panel says so. Press Try again, or place the stops on the map.
Pins get better
Pins learn from deliveries: where drivers really stop becomes the customer's pin once their visits agree. Settings shows how close pins were to where drivers stopped.
