Plan all stops
- Press Plan all stops.
- Choose One driver for one route. Or choose Several drivers, and tick who drives or set how many.
- Press the button at the bottom: Plan one route, or Make 3 routes for three drivers.
Routes planned together share out the stops, so each stop goes to whichever driver serves it best.
Start, end and times
In the plan sheet, press Change beside the line about start, end and times.
- Start. Start at depot, or turn it off and choose Best first stop or A place.
- End. Back at depot, At the last stop or Somewhere else.
- Times On, routes are planned with a start time, a Done by time and Minutes at each stop. Off, just the best order, with no finish-by time.
Start and End beside the day's routes change the same choices for the whole day.
Delivery windows and load limits always count, with times on or off. The planner reaches each stop inside its window, like 9 to 12, and keeps each driver within the number under Holds, whenever the day allows. With times off, a route with windows runs on a clock that starts at the driver's start time. The plan sheet says when either one is being used. When a day can't fit, a route shows its windows at risk, or says it has more than its driver holds.
Plan just some stops
- Press Select at the bottom of the map, and draw around the stops.
- Give the route a name, and choose a driver or Choose later.
- Press the yellow Plan button. They become one new route.
Or use Add to a route… to put them in a route you have, or Draw again.
Change a route
- Press a route in the list to open it.
- Drag a stop by its grip to change the order. Or press a stop and use Earlier, Later, Move to # or Into another route….
- Press Replan to plan the route again.
- Press the route's name to rename it, and Choose a driver to set who drives.
On the map, you can also drag a stop's number onto another stop: it goes right after that one.
Merge or remove routes
Tick routes in the day's list, then press Merge to make them one route, each keeping its order, or Remove to put their stops back to wait for a route. Undo brings removed routes back with the same order and driver.
Undo
Your changes to a day can be undone with Undo at the top of the panel, newest first, for a week. Sending a route can't be undone, and Undo stops at a change to a route that has been sent or driven since.
Big days
On every paid plan, one route holds up to 5,000 stops. Big routes take longer to plan, and the panel shows how far it has got.
