Add and import stops
Drop in a spreadsheet, paste a list, add one stop at a time, or copy a day you planned before.
Import a file or a list
- On the map, press Add stops.
- Drop an Excel or CSV file on the sheet, or press Choose file.
- Or press Paste a list, paste rows from a spreadsheet or one address per line, and press Put on the map. You can also paste anywhere on the sheet.
A file can be Excel (.xlsx), CSV or plain text, up to 4 MB and 20,000 rows.
What a list can have
Columns are read by their headers, in English or French, or by what's in them when there are no headers.
- An address, whole or in parts (street, town, postal code), or latitude and longitude.
- A name, an id, a phone number and the customer's email.
- A time window like 9:00-12:00, minutes at the stop, a quantity, and notes for the driver.
Columns are remembered, so the next file with the same layout needs nothing set up.
Check what was read
After an import, its page says how many stops are ready and what was done for you: repeats merged, typos fixed, delivery times read from notes.
- Right after an import, press Check the columns to see what each column was read as, and change any of them.
- From your file lists rows that were skipped, and why.
- Press Go to the map when you're done, or Plan all stops to plan straight away.
Add one stop
- Press Add stop at the bottom of the map.
- Type the address. In Ontario, real streets are suggested as you type.
- Or press Tap the map instead, and tap where the stop is.
- Press Add stop.
Copy a day you planned before
In Add stops, under Do it again, press Copy beside the same day last week or your last day. The stops come in at the same places.
Take an import back
Under Recent imports, press Undo beside it. Its stops are taken back, except ones already in routes.
Importing the same list twice for one day asks first. Press Import again only if you mean it.
How many stops
On every paid plan, one route holds up to 5,000 stops. Your plan sets how many routes a day you can plan. See Plans and billing.
